Fish is considered a high-rotation product, and for this reason, the crates, pallets and pallet boxes or containers used in logistics operations have a high reusage rate, demonstrating yet another advantage of plastic logistic solutions.
Many operations within the fisheries sector’s logistics activities take place in environments with large amounts of water and high humidity. Our plastic pallets and containers are the ideal solution for these settings as they are waterproof. Unlike traditional wooden equivalents, they do not vary in size, weight or when in contact with water. Furthermore, our pallets and pallet boxes can be washed after use, avoiding bad odours and/or the presence of bacteria or parasites that could cause accidental contamination.

Plastic Pallets for the fisheries industry
Fundamentally, two types of pallets are used in the fisheries industry, depending on the logistics use:

The SMART 1208-O3 model is the ideal solution for these circuits, as our pallets offer the benefits of reducing space once emptied, without losing functionality when loaded. On occasions in which empty space is not an issue, our clients choose products from our LOGIC line, such as LOGIC 1208-G3, which offer the best quality-price ratio.
- Often, fish is exported to other countries, for which our LIGHTWEIGHT range pallets are the most recommendable option to avoid bothersome import-export processes, or possible hold ups in customs, as they do not require an ISPM-15 certificate. Our recommendations for export activities are the BASIC 1208-O9 and BASIC 1210-O9 models, which are lightweight, nestable and which do not increase the cost of the product they hold.
Containers or Pallet Boxes in the fisheries industry
