Advantages of plastic applied to our pallets, crates and containers

Plastic is a highly versatile material and offers numerous advantages in different sectors and industrial applications.

Plastic is a highly versatile material and offers numerous advantages in different sectors and industrial applications.

  • Durability: Longer life cycle than other alternatives (card or wood), meaning a lower environmental and economic impact as the number of units needed over time is reduced.
  • Recyclable: Longer life cycle than other alternatives (card or wood), meaning a lower environmental and economic impact as the number of units needed over time is reduced.
  • Recycled: Our products can be produced from the waste of other applications, contributing to improving the environmental impact of the packaging industry as a whole. Circular application.
  • Hygiene: They are waterproof, meaning they can be washed after each use. They do not absorb bacteria or parasites, and are ideal for safe exports, with no need for additional treatments to comply with the ISPM-15.
  • Lightweight: They are extremely lightweight compared to other alternatives (wood or metal), entailing a saving in the use of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions both during production and transport.
  • Unchangeable: Their weight and shape are unchangeable. Unlike other alternatives, they do not absorb water or humidity, and can be stored safely outdoors.
  • Handling: Right from the design phase they are created to be ergonomic and easy to handle. Gloves are not required when handling them, as they have no splinters or sharp edges.
  • Aesthetics: They have an enhanced visual shelf impact, contributing to a better shopping experience and producing a cleaner setting at the point of sale.
  • Maintenance: They are more resistant to wear than other alternatives (wood or card) and as they are composed of fewer components, they are easier to classify and maintain.
  • Cleanliness: Less facility maintenance, as the waste generated during handling (splinters or fragments) on the production lines and/or point of sale are minimised.
  • Repair: Some of our products can be repaired, allowing for an increased life cycle with the replacement of some parts.
  • Optimisation: Some of our products are nestable or foldable, optimising space in storage and during transportation while empty.
